Chaeryeong and Lee Chaeyeon (IZ*ONE) are sisters. Both appeared on K-pop Star 3 and later debuted in different groups.

ITZY debuted under JYP Entertainment on February 12, 2019, following in the footsteps of TWICE as JYP's prominent girl group.

Ryujin (Shin Ryu-jin) appeared on YG Entertainment's survival show Mix Nine in 2017-2018 before joining JYP. Despite not debuting through that show, she was scouted and became a JYPE trainee.
