I-LAND aired on Mnet in 2020, with 7 members selected to form ENHYPEN.

ENHYPEN was formed through I-LAND, a 2020 survival show that was a joint production between HYBE and CJ ENM. Out of 23 trainees, 7 were selected.

ENHYPEN debuted on November 30, 2020 under BELIFT LAB (a joint label between HYBE and CJ ENM) with the EP BORDER: DAY ONE.

Jake (Shim Jake) is from Brisbane, Australia, of Korean descent. He discovered K-pop as a child and auditioned online for Big Hit Entertainment before appearing on I-LAND.

ENHYPEN was formed through 'I-LAND', a Big Hit Entertainment and CJ ENM co-produced survival show in 2020.

Jake (Sim Jaeyun) was born in South Korea but raised in Brisbane, Australia.

Jungwon was selected as leader despite being one of the younger members, chosen for his maturity and leadership qualities.

ENHYPEN has 7 members: Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki. Jungwon is the leader.

Ni-ki (Nishimura Riki) is from Okayama, Japan. He is the youngest member (maknae) of ENHYPEN and was a competitive dancer before joining I-LAND.

Jay (Park Jong-seong) was born in Seattle, Washington and grew up in Seattle. He is Korean-American and is known for his English fluency within the group.

BELIFT LAB is a joint venture between HYBE (formerly Big Hit Entertainment) and CJ ENM, the media company behind Mnet. The label was specifically created to manage ENHYPEN.

The fan song Highway 1009 on Romance Untold was written entirely by the 7 Enhypen members to share their love to the fandom

Given-Taken was released with their debut EP "BORDER: DAY ONE" on November 30, 2020.

Drunk-Dazed (2021) is the lead track of their EP BORDER: CARNIVAL and one of ENHYPEN's most beloved songs. Its funky, retro-horror concept was acclaimed for its creativity.

ENHYPEN released their 4th mini album 'DARK BLOOD' on May 22, 2023, continuing their vampire/dark mythology storyline.

Nishimura Riki (Ni-Ki) is Japanese, making him one of the prominent Japanese K-pop idols of the 4th generation.

DARK BLOOD uses a classic vampire color scheme -- crimson red, stark black, and white -- creating a dramatic visual identity.
